This Privacy Policy sets out how the developer of Contacts: Phone Calls & Dialer ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the application (the "App"). The App works as a phone dialer and contact manager — placing calls, organizing contacts, showing call history, and identifying incoming callers. Installing or using the App means you accept the practices below; if you do not accept them, please do not use the App.

1. Information the App Works With

The App's features rely on data that lives on your device, accessed only with the permissions you grant:

  • Contacts – names and phone numbers saved on your device, used to display your contact list, place calls, and show who is calling.
  • Call data – your call log and the numbers of incoming and outgoing calls, used to show call history, redial, and identify callers.
  • Blocked numbers – numbers you choose to block, kept so unwanted calls can be filtered.
  • Device and usage data – device model, operating system version, App version, language, device identifiers, anonymous statistics on feature usage, and crash and diagnostic reports, used for analytics and improvement.

Your contacts and call history are processed on your device. We do not sell this data, and it is not shared with anyone except as this policy describes.

2. Permissions

Each permission is requested only when a feature needs it:

  • Contacts (read/write) – display, add, edit, and organize your contacts.
  • Phone (CALL_PHONE, READ_PHONE_STATE) – place calls from the dialer and detect call state.
  • Call Log – show your call history and recent calls.
  • Notifications – alert you about calls and blocked-call activity.

You can withdraw any permission whenever you like in your device settings; the related feature simply stops working until it is granted again.

3. How Information Is Used

Data is used strictly to run the App's dialing, contact-management, call-history, caller ID, and blocking features; to keep the App stable and fix crashes; to understand overall usage through analytics; and to improve the App over time. We never sell or rent personal information.

4. Analytics, Advertising, and Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase (analytics and crash reporting)
  • Google AdMob (advertising)

Ad networks may process your advertising identifier to serve ads, including personalized ads where allowed; ad personalization can be switched off in your device settings. We do not control how these providers handle data and encourage you to read their policies.

5. Data Security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards protect the information processed through the App. Even so, no method of electronic storage or transmission is fully secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

6. Your Controls

You stay in charge: manage or revoke permissions in device settings, edit or delete contacts, clear call history, unblock numbers, disable ad personalization, or uninstall the App at any time. Uninstalling removes the App's local data from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where regional law sets a higher threshold), and we knowingly collect no personal information from children. If we learn a child has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly — parents or guardians can reach us at the email below.

8. Privacy Rights (EU, UK, Switzerland & US States)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data and to withdraw consent; you may also complain to your Data Protection Authority. Residents of certain US states hold comparable rights under their state privacy laws. Write to the email below to exercise any of them.

9. Data Deletion

The App requires no account. Contacts, call history, and block lists live on your device and can be deleted in the App or by uninstalling it. To ask us to delete any data we may hold, contact the email below and we will act within a reasonable time.

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time; the current version with its effective date will always appear on this page. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
