App: Phone Dialer: Contacts Manager
Effective date: September 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Phone Dialer: Contacts Manager ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the application (the "App"). The App is a phone dialer and contact manager: it places and answers calls, keeps your contact list organised, shows your call history, identifies who is calling, and blocks numbers you do not want to hear from. By installing or continuing to use the App you accept the practices set out below. If you do not accept them, please do not install the App.
1. Information the App Works With
Depending on the permissions you grant, the App handles four kinds of data:
- Contact details. Names and phone numbers stored on your device, used to build your contact list and to match an incoming number to a person you know.
- Call history. Records from the device call log, plus the numbers of calls you make and receive, used to show your recent calls and to support caller identification.
- Blocked and reported numbers. Stored with a device identifier so that your filters keep working the next time you open the App.
- Device and diagnostic data. Device make and model, Android version, App version, language, device identifiers, anonymous counts of feature usage, crash reports and performance logs.
Your contacts and call history are processed on your device. We do not sell either, and we do not share them with anyone outside the providers named in this policy.
2. Permissions We Ask For
- Contacts (read and write) — to show, add, edit and organise your contact list.
- Phone (CALL_PHONE, READ_PHONE_STATE) — to start calls and to detect when a call is in progress.
- Call Log — to build your call history and recent calls screens.
- Notifications — to alert you about incoming calls and blocked-call activity.
We never request a permission before the feature that needs it. You can withdraw any permission in Android settings, and the feature that depends on it will simply stop working until you grant it again.
3. Why We Process Data
We use data only to provide contact management, dialling, call history, caller ID and blocking; to keep the spam filter working properly; to keep the App stable and fix problems; to understand overall usage so we can improve the App; to show ads to users on the free tier; and to activate and restore subscriptions. We never sell or rent personal information.
4. Advertising
Users without a subscription are shown ads delivered by third-party networks, including Google AdMob. These networks may read your device advertising identifier and similar technical signals to choose which ad to show, personalised where local law allows it. You can reset or delete that identifier and turn personalisation off at any time in Android settings. While a subscription is active, the App shows no ads at all.
Google explains how it uses data for advertising at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Subscriptions and Payment Information
An optional subscription removes ads and unlocks the premium features. All payments are handled by Google Play billing. Your card number, billing address and similar details go to Google and are covered by Google's own privacy policy — they never reach us. We receive only an anonymous purchase token, which we use solely to switch your subscription on and to restore it if you reinstall the App or change phones. Purchase records are kept only for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
6. Third-Party Services
The App includes the following services, each with its own privacy policy that we encourage you to read: Google Play Services; Firebase (analytics and crash reporting); Google AdMob (advertising); and Google Play billing (subscription payments). How these providers handle data is determined by them, not by us.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information the App handles. Even so, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Controls
At any time you can grant or withdraw permissions in Android settings, edit or delete contacts, clear your call history, unblock a number, turn off ad personalisation, or uninstall the App — which removes the data it stored on your device.
9. Children
The App is not aimed at children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have received such information, we delete it. A subscription taken out by a minor is valid only if a parent or legal guardian agreed to it beforehand; turning on purchase authentication in Google Play prevents charges from going through on a child's phone without an adult's approval. Parents and guardians with any concern are welcome to write to us at the address below.
10. Regional Privacy Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict the use of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a Data Protection Authority. Residents of several US states have comparable rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. Writing to the address below is enough to exercise any of these rights.
11. Deleting Your Data
The App does not require an account. Your contacts, call history and block lists stay on your device and are removed when you delete them in the App or uninstall it. If you would like anything we hold to be erased, write to us and we will act on your request within a reasonable time.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page, with its effective date, is always the one that applies, and continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
