These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the CarTV: M3U IPTV Player, Cast application (the "App") and form an agreement between you and its developer ("we", "us", "our"). Downloading, installing, or using the App means you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the App.
1. What the App Is
The App is a media player. It opens M3U and M3U8 playlists and media sources that you supply, plays them, and can cast or mirror playback to a compatible display, receiver, or car head unit on your local network. It ships with no channels or media of its own.
2. Content — Please Read
We do not host, provide, broadcast, stream, or store any television channel, film, series, or other media. Every stream the App plays comes from a source you have added yourself. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the legality, availability, or quality of that material.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you hold the necessary rights, licence, or valid subscription for anything you stream through the App, and that doing so is lawful where you are. Using the App to access content you are not entitled to is a breach of these Terms. Complaints about a specific stream must be directed to the provider of that stream, not to us.
3. Safety While Driving — Important
Where the App is used with a car display or head unit, video must never be watched by the driver while the vehicle is in motion. Vehicle and head-unit manufacturers restrict video playback while driving, and so does the law in most countries. The App is intended for use when parked, or by passengers on a display not visible to the driver.
You are responsible for using the App safely and lawfully in a vehicle, for complying with all applicable road-traffic and distracted-driving laws, and for any consequence of failing to do so. We accept no liability for any accident, injury, damage, or penalty arising from use of the App while driving.
4. Free Use and Subscription
The App is free to download. Without a subscription it may display advertising. An optional subscription removes advertising and unlocks the App's premium features; which features it covers is shown inside the App and may be extended or adjusted over time.
5. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account at the price shown before you confirm. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, a subscription renews automatically and your App Store account is charged under Apple's terms. You may cancel at any time in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
6. Refunds
Refunds are handled under Apple's refund policy and can be requested at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. If you believe a charge was made in error you may also email us and we will help where we can, though refunds for App Store purchases are decided and processed by Apple.
7. Minors
The App may be used from 13 years of age, or from any higher minimum age the law of your region sets. A minor may use the App only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf. Any purchase or subscription made by a minor requires prior parental consent, and the parent or guardian is responsible for purchases made through the App Store account on a device they allow a minor to use. Enabling Ask to Buy in Family Sharing prevents purchases completing without approval.
8. Acceptable Use
Use the App lawfully. You must not use it to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights, to redistribute or rebroadcast streams you are not entitled to share, to bypass the subscription or any access control, to interfere with the App's operation, to attempt unauthorised access to any connected system, or to decompile or reverse engineer any part of it.
9. Intellectual Property
The App — its code, design, graphics, and other materials originating with us — is our property and protected by intellectual property law. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App, together with any premium features a subscription unlocks, for private and non-commercial purposes. Copying, modifying, redistributing, selling, or reverse engineering the App is not permitted without our written consent. Your playlists and your own content remain yours.
10. Third-Party Services and Advertising
The App uses third-party services, including Apple's App Store for purchases and advertising and analytics providers such as Google AdMob. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services. Any dealings between you and an advertiser are between the two of you; we are not responsible for third-party advertising content or the products and services promoted through it.
11. Privacy
How information is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short, your playlists, credentials, and viewing activity stay on your device. Using the App means accepting the practices described there.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that playback or casting will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the App will work with every stream format, receiver, head unit, or network, that any particular source will remain available, or that defects will be corrected.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of playlists, interrupted playback, or device issues — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, even where the possibility of such damage was made known to us.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense arising out of your use of the App, the content you stream through it, your use of it in a vehicle, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.
15. Termination
You may end your use of the App at any time by deleting it — noting that deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription, which must be cancelled in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. We may suspend or terminate access without prior notice where these Terms are breached, where the law requires it, or where continuing to provide the App would create legal or operational risk. Provisions that by their nature survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification — remain in force.
16. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force, with its date, is always the one published on this page, and continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of it.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, save where mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
